This policy explains what information Keystone collects when you use our calculators, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Summary

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent to or stored on our servers. We do use cookies and similar technologies for basic site operation, aggregate analytics, and advertising, as described below.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and pages visited. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and a few anonymous product events (for example, that a calculator was used, never the numbers you entered) without cookies.
  • Local preferences. We store small preferences, such as your light or dark theme choice, in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertising, which helps keep our calculators free. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this site and other sites on the Internet. In connection with this:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
  • Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, or read Google's advertising technologies policy to learn how the DART cookie works and how to opt out of it.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set, through a consent management platform certified by Google.

How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the site and our calculators.
  • To understand which tools and guides are most useful, using aggregate statistics.
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To display advertising and measure its performance.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other US states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sharing" of personal information. To make a request, email us at hello@example.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping. We use industry-standard measures, including HTTPS everywhere, but no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
